School Council
Aboyne Lodge have a School Council made up of one girl and one boy from each Key Stage 1 class and each Key Stage 2 class. They are voted for by their classmates and meet most Fridays to discuss various initiatives and to make important whole school decisions
The Aboyne Lodge School Council supports 4 key areas:
1. Community
2. School Resources
3. Well-being
4. Learning

1. Community
Supporting the Christmas Fair
* Several council members helped on the Toy Stall at the Fair – well done to all those who helped out.
2. School Resources
The Golden Coathanger Award.
The Council decided to start a tidy-up competition to help the staff keep the school tidy. When a class wins the Golden Coathanger 3 times the teacher decides on an appropriate reward.
Winners so far are:

Christmas Jumper Competition
The council distributed Christmas jumper templates for each child to colour. Each class had 2 winners
