We have a proud history of competing in chess and have a thriving chess club run by Mr Kumar on a Friday morning. Chess Club is open to complete beginners, those who know how to move the pieces and also for children with knowledge of Chess. We will look at opening principles, common chess tactics like Pin, Fork and Skewer and the power to win the endgame.

If music is something you enjoy and would like to learn, we offer lessons in range of instruments including brass, guitar, violin and piano. We are looking to expand this further in the Summer term by developing our own school orchestra. Children can also be part of the school choir who take part in concerts throughout the year, and we also offer individual singing lessons.
